For us, good design isn’t a style or a trend. It’s not a look. It’s about creating cohesion between the environment and the people who use the space. It’s about crafting things that just work properly to enhance a space, either through a design’s significance, or its subtleness. We are kitchen designers and can help you through the whole process.
Today we design and make kitchens and furniture for clients all over New Zealand keeping their needs at the heart of what we do.

MAKE founder, Will, has worked with plywood for over 25 years, choosing this material to craft things that are as useful as they are beautiful.
He’s built a Nelson-based team of makers and designers who have diverse creative backgrounds and a wealth of experience to call on, contributing skills and techniques that make us stand out in our field.
Our team has an eye for detail, obsession for functional design with an appreciation for beauty that can be seen in every design that comes from the Make workshop.
Our designs center around functionality with the human touch. We can make (almost) anything and we love a tricky space!
