About / Our Process
1. Get in touch to kick things off.
Our design team will take the time to listen to what you want to achieve. How do you use the space? What works, what doesn't?
No plans from an architect or designer? No problem! Photos or drawings of your space can help us understand what you have in mind and identify the problems that need to be solved. The more information you give us the better.
2. Concept and Estimate
Then, drawing on years of design and making experience, we will translate your needs into an initial concept drawing and provide an estimate and timeframe for your project.
We believe your kitchen or furniture is as unique as you are so we don’t use pre-existing designs or templates, we work with you to create something truly bespoke.
3. Finalise Design and Quote
During the design process, we work closely with you to finalise materials and layout, as well as making sure everything works for you and your space. We believe longevity and sustainability come from using high-quality, long-lasting materials that go the distance and handle day to day living. Our commitment to craftsmanship and attention to detail allow for a high level of creativity and customisation of our designs.
4. The making process starts!
All our plywood kitchens and furniture are hand made and crafted in our Nelson workshop, and as a small team of makers, you stay closely connected to the craftspeople and design team behind your project throughout the entire process. We can then deliver and install anywhere in New Zealand or send using one of our trusted delivery options.
You then get to use and love your new furniture for years to come!
