Richmond

Harmonising original style with a contemporary feel was the brief here.

This beautiful adobe (mud brick) home made and added to over many years by the owner has always been a passion project, so it was crucial the design and construction of the new plywood kitchen was sympathetic to the original style.

Renovation doesn’t always mean full replacement, original features can be incorporated into new designs and their beauty gets a new lease on life. Here the Birch plywood and NZ Native timber work so well together enhancing their innate natural beauty.
