If the kitchen is the heart of a home, then plywood gives it soul.
Good design isn’t just about aesthetic, but ease. Our bespoke plywood cabinetry designs are inspired by the environment in which they sit, making the best use of space to create a functional yet elevated kitchen that feels effortless to live in.
It’s the subtleties of our designs that will make your kitchen stand out. The clean, simple lines and warm tones of plywood underplay the true mastery of our function-led thinking, and when combined with other contemporary materials, the result is a space of enduring style.
Plywood is durable, long lasting and sustainable. We think it’s the perfect material to make your kitchen that you will love for years to come. We are kitchen designers who specialise in plywood and can help you through the whole project.
Ngatitama
Renovating a home whilst being sympathetic to the original style is something that has been perfectly executed here. The beautiful villa is light filled and complimented with interesting materials. Bamboo is a renewable material that is extremely durable for this busy family and suited to many situations. Choosing it for the kitchen, bathrooms and bench seats shows how versatile this modern product is. The warm tones and interesting texture of Bamboo doesn’t compete with the original floors or the new modern tiling throughout. A lovely palette of colours that work harmoniously with each other.
Brooklands
That 70’s feeling but oh so modern. This kitchen renovation boldly incorporating Formica and well positioned within the home, it enjoys a slight elevation, amplifying the sensation of being in a tropical setting through its vibrant and inviting colour palette. We love this one!
Milton Street
A very clever design where the kitchen storage double as the traditional sideboard and made in beautiful Birch Plywood. Making a traditional piece of furniture using modern techniques and materials, maintains the original style of the villa but brings a contemporary feel. Laminam has been used for the splash back and bench top, a very durable material that has a high tolerance to heat. Open shelving has been well placed for display and easy to reach items. Green lino fronts enhance the Oak timber flooring, creating a natural and elegant feeling in the home.

A kitchen that could double as an entertainment hub, serving as a focal point within the home. Lots of industrial elements that are soften with the warm tones of plywood. Stainless steel bench top with an anti spill edge for practicality, easy to open drawers and doors that add a little playfulness to the overall design. By keeping the colour palette minimal, the space appears timeless and will always be a statement space in the home.
Tamaki Street
Keeping the bottom half of this kitchen darker creates a grounded feeling broken up with the brushed chrome handle detail that brings a touch of industrial feeling to the space. Plywood cabinetry for durability is always a must. The solid timber Island is kept clear of utilities to keep the open plan space feeling uncluttered. It provides a welcome area when entertaining and is a centrepiece on its own.
Wellington
Classic black and white colour palette in this Wellington kitchen to showcase the extensive art collection. By using a variety of complimentary materials, we were able to keep the kitchen feeling timeless but still very practical with stainless steel benches and a great workflow.
